Bill Janvier focuses his practice on representation before the Bankruptcy Court and on financial restructuring, and is a board certified specialist in both business and consumer bankruptcy. He represents businesses and individuals in financial distress, as well as lenders with problem loans. He has served on the Panel of Chapter 7 Trustees appointed by the Bankruptcy Court to administer Chapter 7 cases, and chairs the ethics committee of the state bar association's bankruptcy section.

Both inside and outside of bankruptcy, Bill has participated in the reorganization or liquidation of businesses in a wide variety of industries, ranging from retail stores to manufacturing companies to restaurants to technology companies to contractors to commercial developers to health care providers.

Bill is a regular speaker at continuing legal education programs, and has written numerous published articles on bankruptcy, bankruptcy litigation, and financial restructuring. Bill is a regular contributor to the bankruptcy section newsletter The Disclosure Statement. When not at work, Bill spends his time with his wife Ann and their four children. Bill is confident that he had hobbies prior to having children, but can no longer recall what those hobbies might have been.
