During law school she also served as a research assistant to an Administrative Law Judge and assisted in the law school’s development office. Rebecca is active with the Young Advocates, a group of young professionals that supports the Boys & Girls Club, and provides volunteer legal services at the Healing Place, a non-profit recovery and rehabilitation facility for homeless people with alcohol and drug dependency. Rebecca is an article contributor to The Advocate, the newsletter for the Young Lawyer’s Division of the North Carolina Bar Association. She enjoys working in her vegetable garden and hiking and camping with her husband Philip and their two Labrador Retrievers, Millie and Huck. She recently completed a marathon in Fort Collins, Colorado (elevation 5003 feet). After practicing family law in another Raleigh firm for a year, Rebecca now devotes her considerable energies to our firm’s bankruptcy practice. |
